Blood Culture Streptococcus

ImmuLex™ S. pneumonia Omni is a rapid latex agglutination test, which enables you to detect pneumococcus within 5 seconds directly from positive blood culture. The kit contains antisera for detection of all 92 S. pneumonia serotypes. One drop of antisera latex is mixed with 10 µL of blood culture where growth of cocci has been confirmed. If positive, a reaction will appear within 5 seconds for blood culture, and after 10 seconds for pure culture. All reactions after 15 seconds are negative.
