A lovely, clean, local bike, with low mileage (22,000m), good history, just three owners and a super-smooth motor that pulls like a turbine.
This is the later, A3 version of the ER5 which means it has better controls and more comprehensive instruments, including a fuel gauge and adjustable brake and clutch levers. Price also includes a fresh MOT and Renntec rack with a topbox that comfortably takes a full-face helmet.
Documentation file includes original bill of sale from Keith Parnell’s, MOT certificates dating back to 2006 and various service invoices covering 1999 to 2005. Selling on behalf of present lady owner who has had the bike since June 2007 and kept it garaged and very well-maintained. A scuff on the chrome speedo binnacle is the only significant blemish.
This machine is a perfect commuter, first big bike, or simply an easy to manage machine for those Sunday morning blasts to Lands End or the Lizard. As journalist and race commentator Julian Ryder says: “A very easy bike to ride and enjoy. What more could you want?”.
